Conventionally "theoretical" courses tend not to be found here as the subjects offered are geared towards the needs of the professional, for example, engineering, business administration, design and in the social services. The rising popularity in these institutions reflected in the fact that today more than 60% of all engineers and about 50% of all business administration graduates come from universities of applied sciences.
