Oregon USA Exchange
The Oregon Baden-Württemberg State Exchange Programme was founded in 1966 and will celebrate its 40 year anniversary in 2008.
Up to 40 visiting students from each system may study on a reciprocal and tuition-free basis per academic year. Students from ten institutions of higher education in Baden-Württemberg or OUS students from six universities may participate in any available field of study If they wish to persue degrees they must meet regular admission requirements. Over 2.000 students participated in the programme.
The OREGON STUDY CENTER (OSCG) is located at the University of Tübingen . It is sponsored by the Oregon University System (OUS) and was instated to offer academic and administrative support for student and faculty exchanges between the state universities of Baden-Württemberg and Oregon.

Application to the schools of music and art necessitates advance planning since a portfolio and/or audition may be required.

- day-long pre-departure orientation that covers the academic, administrative, financial and cultural information at the University of Oregon, Eugene (organized by OUS International Programmes in May)
- Oregon Fall Orientation at the University of Tübingen (in September): 4-week intensive German language and cultural orientation and field trips, Year-long Programme/ Fall Orientation Tübingen
- Additional Internship Option/ Placements (academic credit)
- credit transfer (status of a full time student)
- one semester (winter or summer)/ two semester options (winter & summer)
