Ontario Canada Exchange
The Ontario/Baden-Württemberg State to State Exchange Programme (known familiarly as the "OBW" programme) was founded in 1990. Since its beginning, it has exchanged more than 1500 university students between the universities of the Province of Ontario in Canada and the State of Baden-Württemberg in the German Southwest.
In addition to the exchange programme there is the OBW Research Programme. For further information about the OBW Research Programme please click
here.
The programme is open to any student of the participating universities. Requirements for the programmes depend on the contents of the chosen option for the exchange. Information on those options as well as on the application procedure is available at the International Office of the home university.
Please contact your International Office!
Due to the Exchange contract, no tuition fees are charged at the host university. There can still be fees for public transportation, excursions etc. Cost of living (food and housing) in Baden-Württemberg sum up to about 600 - 650 Euros per month. But make sure you take some extra budget for travelling into consideration!
Grants may be available. Further information is available at your International Office. The decision on the grant is made by the host university.
