South Australia Exchange

The South Australia-Baden-Württemberg Exchange Programme actually is designed to deepen the cooperation between the research universities in both states. Therefore, undergraduate and postgraduate students of the participating universities are eligible for an exchange from 6 weeks up to one full academic year.
The programme consists of a combination of an orientation programme, intensive language preparation, lectures and project work. There are choices available, which do not require any German knowledge at all. Yet, the participation in language programmes is mandatory.

The programme is open to any student of the participating universities. Requirements for the programmes depend on the contents of the chosen option for the exchange. Information on those options as well as on the application procedure is available at the International Office of the home university.

Due to the Exchange contract, no tuition fees are charged at the host university. There can still be fees for public transportation, excursions etc. Cost of living (food and housing) in Baden-Württemberg sum up to about 550,- Euros per month. But make sure you take some extra budget for travelling into consideration!
Grants may be available. Further information is available at your International Office. The decision on the grant is made by the host university.
