Entrance Qualifications for Music Academies in Baden-WürttembergInternational applicants who want to study at a school of music and drama and who have acquired their educational qualifications abroad need confirmation that they fulfil the university entrance qualification as well as have proof of the required fluency in German. International applicants who have already received confirmation of their university entrance qualification and of their German language ability can apply to study at the school of music and drama of their choice. Applicants are entitled to study at a school of music and drama when they have the general (sometimes subject-restricted) higher education entrance qualification. Applicants with proof of an outstanding artistic talent may be admitted without the higher education entrance qualification. All candidates must participate in the admission's process. During this, the applicant's musical or artistic aptitude or special talent for the chosen course of study will be checked. Applicants must always submit their application to the university of their choice directly.
