Intensive Management Courses at Mannheim Business School
The most highly acclaimed German provider of continuing professional development in the management field, the Mannheim Business School (MBS), will be offering five intensive management courses for the first time starting at the end of September 2009. The course titles are: "Financial Accounting for Non-Financial Managers" (24 to 26 September), "Sales Excellence" (8 to 10 October), "Strategic Management" (21 to 23 October), "Corporate Finance for Non-Financial Managers" (2 to 4 November) and "Organizational Design & Change Management" (26 to 28 November). The courses will be run by professors from the University of Mannheim at a cost of 2,900 euros each. The plan is to expand the range of intensive courses on offer next year. Students who have taken part in a total of three of the “Open Enrollment Programs” will be eligible for membership of Mannheim Business School’s worldwide alumni network. The MBS President, Prof. Christian Homburg, believes the new intensive management courses will be “just as interesting to non-economists as they are to graduates with a first degree in economic science who would like to brush up and extend their knowledge.”
The Mannheim Business School is one of the leading institutions of its kind in Europe. In fact, the school is the only educational institution in Germany to have been awarded the “Triple Crown” – the three most important international badges of quality: accreditation by the British Association of MBAs (AMBA), the American AACSB and the Brussels-based EQUIS. The Mannheim institute was jointly founded in 2005 by the University of Mannheim’s Business School and the Prechel Foundation. The Business School also offers two international Master of Business Administration degrees (taught in English) as well as continuing professional development management programmes for companies.
