Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM (scholarship) of the Landesstiftung Baden-Württemberg
The founding members of the regional chapter Hong Kong of the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM
On September 19th, 2008, a Regional Chapter Hong Kong within the scholarship programme "Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM" of the Landesstiftung Baden-Württemberg was founded. The foundation took place during a trip to Hong Kong which Baden-Württemberg’s Minister of Research, Science and the Arts Prof. Dr. Peter Frankenberg made, accompanied by some of the rectors of Baden-Württemberg’s universities.
The constitutional meeting of the Chapter was held at the Ramada Hotel in Hong Kong. 21 scholarship holders and alumni from Hong Kong and Baden-Württemberg signed the foundation charter in a ceremonial act and discussed future activities.
During the following reception, held by Baden-Württemberg‘s Minister of Science, Research and the Arts and the German Vice Consul General, the founder members used the opportunity for personal exchange and for networking in the nice atmosphere of the Foreign Correspondents' Club.
