Get an international engineering degree in Baden-Württemberg!
The University of Applied Sciences Ravensburg-Weingarten is offering a new international bachelor’s programme in electrical engineering and information technology. The programme starts every summer semester and is aimed at international students. Graduates of the 7-semester programme receive a Bachelor of Engineering degree. In keeping with the international focus of the programme, instruction during the first 4 semesters is in English. A German language programme for foreign students is part of the standard curriculum during that period. After completing the language course, the students will be able to do a practical semester in a German company to gain experience working as an engineer. The final two semesters are mainly taught in German.
Graduates of the above-mentioned programme and other holders of technically-oriented bachelor’s degrees may be interested in the following two master’s programmes:
The Master of Engineering in Automotive Systems (M Eng ASM) at the University of Applied Sciences Esslingen is an international, consecutive and application-oriented programme. A degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology or computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering or an equivalent field is required for admission.
The programme’s curriculum reflects the needs of globally-oriented companies. It qualifies students to work in the automotive and automotive supplier industry in the development and market roll-out of feedback control systems, automotive software and automotive electronics.
The Design and Development in Automotive and Mechanical Engineering (M Eng. / DDM) master’s programme at the University of Applied Sciences Esslingen focuses on advanced topics in the essential fields of interest for industrial design engineers. It therefore requires a solid foundation of engineering knowledge from an undergraduate programme such as automotive engineering or mechanical engineering.
Modern simultaneous engineering calls for design and development engineers with networked knowledge in the core and intersection areas of design, development, simulation and production technology as well as the ability to communicate and act confidently in the international and intercultural environment of modern industry. The new master’s programme focuses on those requirements.
The M Eng ASM and the M Eng / DDM will be offered every year in September, starting with the 2008/09 winter semester. Both master’s programmes are scheduled for three semesters (1.5 years). All lectures will be held in English.
