Winter term 2008/09 sees the start of the international, English-language Master's programme "Process Engineering", a joint creation of the Hochschule Offenburg - University of Applied Sciences, the University of Olsztyn (Poland) and the Fribourg University of Technology and Architecture in Switzerland. It is based on the Bachelor study courses Process Engineering (Offenburg), Environmental Protection (Olsztyn) and Chemistry (Fribourg), but is also suitable for graduates of other courses. Modules in the areas of Biochemical Engineering, Geotechnics or Thermal Treatment are available to the students for selection and supplement the compulsory modules on Chemical Process Engineering and Environmental Biochemical Engineering.
The three-semester study course begins in each case with the winter term at the Hochschule Offenburg; the subsequent summer term takes place at the University of Olsztyn, following which, the Master Thesis is written. The study and instruction language is English. Applicants must hold an initial vocational university degree in Process Engineering or comparable courses. Applications must be submitted online exclusively (via the OASIS application database) before 15th July.
